what comes next for SignaleX
We are preparing a software platform shared by all our products. The components presented here are in development or planned. They are not yet available, and their scope may change.

The planned role of each component
The Nex Platform is intended to bring together SignaleX hardware, embedded software, an online console and modules. Here is how these components are expected to fit together.
NexOS, on the Central Unit
Software planned to run modules directly on the Central Unit, including without an internet connection, and to receive remote updates.
NexCloud, online
Online console planned for monitoring your devices, licences and statistics, and for managing updates. Working name.
NexStore, the catalogue
Catalogue planned for choosing and installing modules and options.
NexID, the device identity
Identity planned for each device from manufacture: serial number and QR label.
NexKey, the licence
Planned licence, tied to the device and stored on the Central Unit, valid without an internet connection.
SignaleX hardware
LED displays and Central Unit: the hardware base the platform is being designed for. Available today.

NexIDA planned identity for each device, from manufacture
NexID is in development. Each device is to receive its own identity at the factory: a serial number and a QR label.

NexKeyThe planned licence, stored on the Central Unit
NexKey is in development. This device-bound licence is intended to be stored on the Central Unit and to remain valid without an internet connection.
